Prominent role players in the Bela Bela Community were honoured by presenting them with awards at the “Night of a 1 000 Stars” gala event .

On Friday night, 2 December 2011, residents of the town were treated to a swanky event, filled with glamour, glitz and style, to celebrate the Ten Bela Bela Stars from the community. These nominees each received a Finalist’s Certificate at the event and the winner was crowned from these finalists.

The “Stars” were honoured for excelling in various walks of life. They were:
